This is a collaboration between Shared Space Architecture and Hip V. Hype, for Hygge Property and Nightingale Housing. Shared Space was tasked in providing a Section J Compliance Report for this Class 2 building. Nightingale Ballarat is designed by Breathe Architecture and is the first regional project for the Nightingale Housing Model.

The Section J Compliance Report consisted of a NatHERS rating for each apartment. The development also contains a Class 5 and Class 6 unit on the Ground Floor which required another method to demonstrate compliance.
Shared Space Architecture used the ABCB Facade Calculator Tool with the U-Value Method 2 (multiple aspects) to check against NCC 2019 requirements.
It was a pleasure to work with the team at Breathe Architecture and also use the newly released HERO Software for the NatHERS ratings.
